Dart found a deep part of willow lullaby that looked abandoned."We are all getting really good at spying."Dart said."That little bit of honesty we have about our love really helps."Dart looked at mercedes.

Merce'des looked at him with a smile. "Yes, honesty, of course my love." she said. In that statement, her heart held the slightest bit of regret, the tinyest pang of guilt, and it reflected in her voice with the smallest of tone, but it was there. 'Have I really?' she asked herself. 'After all these years?'. For never once had Merce'des faltered or felt any remorse about her mask of evil deciet, but now...it seemed different, like she'd never done it right at all. She shook it off mentally and with a innocent smile, but with a deceiving glint of mischief, added for effect she walked gracefully next to her mate's side and licked his cheek. The slight bit of falter in her voice was still there, but even less than before as she spoke. "Is it only a little bit of honesty?" she asked teasingly. "Do you not love me whole-heartedly?" she added with a mock sound of sorrow. She brushed up against his side a bit, and ducked to walk under his chin, and pushed up his neck with her head, her eyes closed.

"What I mean by part honesty is that besides us being in love we are NOT really joining the willow lullaby pack and me and Dare are NOT brothers and everyone but your name is fake."Dart said."And why did I sense guilt in your voice.After two years of being a spy I should sense guilt."Dart then said."I do love you with all my heart but I just need answers."

Merce'des looked to him, her violet eyes glinted with sorrow, sorrow that she had purposely put there. "I just feel a bit guilty. I feel that perhaps I don't show my love for you well enough." she said, and she hung her head just a tad, and let her ears fall at just the right angle to depict genuine sorrow. 'It just might work...' she thouht to herself. "I will prove my love for you!" she siad, and let her small frown and look of shame turn into a small radiant smile. "Dart.." she bega, then sat in front of him and looked into his eyes. "Let me bear your pups, to prove my loyalty and love for you." she said with a tone that sounded as though she were pleading, like she wanted it more than anything else in the world, but in her heart, she was slightly frightened.

Merce'des flashed him a smile of unbridled joy and gratitude. "Oh, you won't regret it." she said. "As handsome as you are, they will turn out wonderful." she said, then giggled mischeiviously and licked his maw.

Dart licked back.This was why he liked her.She was playful and friendly.Strange but true.For Dart was anything but friendly with light wolves.

Merce'des looked at him and for a brief second into his eyes. 'Does he really love me? Can I really live with him? Bear his children?' she asked herself. Her right paw was shaking. 'No...' she thought. Her paw had a habit of shaking when she was nervous, but it had been years since it had. She learned to pass by difficult situations without a flinch, but now, she was nervous enough to shake?! Tears burned at the back of her eyes. She had no idea what was happening to her, she just knew she was scared.

"What's wrong?"Dart asked."I have never seeen you like this."Dart had no idea why Mercedes was twitching."Calm down."He said.

Merce'des looked away and forced herself to stop shaking. "There is nothing wrong, my love. I am just very excited to have such an honor." she said happily, but her fear was all but gone. Her tail wagged a bit and she nuzzled the nape of his neck. "But we are late for the pack meeting. we must go." she said. She knew that both Kimiko and Zero were busy and would not notice their absence, and if they did, Cinnamon would explain it to them later. "now, come." she said and she bounded off to Ai'elase lands.

Dart followed mercedes and cloaked both of them so no one could see them leaving.
