Artemis faded, but caught a slight view of the malice that was clearly visible in his eyes...
She shook her head, coming out of her trance. She noticed that Cuvitz had patiently moved his attention to other things, very respectful, or perhaps he had his own things to sort out. "I...I'm sorry for that, I'm usually not that out of it." She felt quite embarrassed by the fact that she'd just blanked out into her own little world.
She looked at her paws, they seemed worn out from her trek, worn out from her journeys, almost as worn out as she felt. She wanted to continue her life, but Cuvitz seemed to bring her memories to the surface once again, was he her weakness? She refused to believe it, she had no weakness. Or at least she thought as much.
"So," She sighs, also unsure of what this conversation would bring, "Marrow seems like the dark type. Such terrible things she's done." The she-wolf wondered what he'd think of her if she told him of her doings, would he gaze at her with different eyes, like the ones that she'd seen when he apparently remembered his sister? She couldn't decide, the silence seemed to rack at her mind, the wind slowly calming her nerves and refreshing her mood.
"If you don't mind me asking, Cuvitz, what did you intend to find here?" It was a question that had been nagging at her since they first spoke, but she never really seemed to be able to get it into the conversation. It was a question that she herself couldn't properly answer.

His crown nodded as she spoke of Marrow being dark. There was no other name for it, and it was simple enough to see. However, he had known other's who's intentions held the same fate at Marrows. They had killed, and admitted to it. Surprisingly, he only held a grudge against his sister, mostly since she had killed his mate and unborn family. ----- Her last question caused him to think. No family, he immediately concluded, though his mother's wishes where him to find his happiness. His father said not to harm his sister, yet his heart told him to run. All effected him, yet all didn't seem to him the answer. There was something more to it, but he couldn't place the exact thing. ----- "I have nothing there to look to. Humans where taking over, and there was no future there," he blinked before adding what little else he could, "And I've always had a love with travel." He looked at her, wondering what exactly it was she had left for. He could guess, though he'd rather not. It was the decision of oneself, and he had the respect for it. Besides, he had no hurry with nothing else yet making him move on.

Her eyes shifted to meet his at the mention of travel. She'd always longed to travel but she always felt that it wouldn't be as enjoyable if she had no one to really talk about it with. "Seems like we have something in common." She smiled, her eyes seemed to brighten, or perhaps it was just the way the light played.
"You know.. if I wasn't the heir I'd have ventured the wilderness a long time ago. I guess I got my wish, and yet I don't feel the same about it." She chuckled at this thought, she fuond it amusing, "I actually came in search of a meaning for my life. Since I was forced to leave I thought that maybe if I lent my services to other packs I could just glide through life." She sighed, her ears drooped and her gaze melted into a lonesome one. She hadn't much to do, she always kept herself closed, hoping that no one would have to see her true self, and yet here she was decisively dripping her soul to him.

He nodded as she spoke, aware that pack services could be the entire difference between survival and death. An attack on a lone wolf was dangerous. He couldn't count the many times he had woven around borders to avoid conflict. ----- "There are different meanings, and it seems many are still searching." he added, not saying much this time. He wasn't quite one to believe such things, but it still caused him to think over it. It was the same with karma and superstitions, you couldn't tell for sure if they were real, or to believe it or not. ----- After this conversation, Cuvitz had noticed a slight pattern. She seemed a little aware of what she spoke of, and seemed somewhat reluctant to speak of it. However, there was also much he didn't share... ever. It was better left as that too, he didn't want anyone to really know the closer background of why his father had two mates... or why the four hated each other with such passion.

Artemis nodded as she listened intently to his wise words. They were true, and they were familiar words that she'd heard before. She remembered the day her parents had lectured her when she refused to co-operate in her lessons. They told her that she'd spend many nights wandering with no meaning without the special lessons and she felt as though they were threatening her, but she could sense that they were merely warning her of what may happen.
"Still searching," she echoed, "So would that mean that you are search as well?" She meant to ask more, but felt that she may come too close and make him feel as if he were being interrogated, though he was, but not to an extreme.

He blinked, then sighed. His auds flicked lightly as he thought, then stilled as he agreed on the words he would use. "I wouldn't say 'search, but I suppose it would be classified as that." he gazed at the fae, then he glimpsed the movement of a bird landing in the oak they sat before. ----- With patience, he awaited the reply of Artemis. He was quite enjoying the untimely visit of the fae, and was now quite welcome to her company. For too long he'd ventured alone, and it seemed she had as well. Either way, he was growing thirsty and was silently scenting liquid on the air. It seemed he either couldn't grasp any, or there was none in the area.

She let a faint grin form upon her maw, she was amused by how he put it and quickly gave her own comment. "There are many ways to classify it, we could be questing, like as in an adventure." She followed his gaze to the bird as they left her and then moved to catch a glimpse of him.
She felt her stomach rumble and her tongue was somewhat dry. They spent a good deal of time just talking and it seemed that her body was taking it's toll. Her eyes began to wander, circling her surroundings from the dark of the trees, the leaves to the sky, before she decided to speak again. "You think we should be on our way? For something to drink I mean." Silently, she awaited for what he'd respond.

His own hint of a smile slid on his maw as she spoke of a quest. It was and odd way to put it, but it was possible. Either way, his attention came back to her when she mentioned leaving. It was then that he licked his slowly drying chops. "I suppose we could, though which way I'd have no clue." he smiled, his pools shimmering. As much as he'd love some liquid, it'd be a shame to loose her company. ----- He turned his crown to and fro, trying to determine which way may hold the most possibilities. Though try as he might, he gave up and awaited what Artemis had to say. So it was there that he waited before bidding ado. Simply, he left, lookign back once. [Cuvitz has left]
