.:To the east there are a flock of geese. They are quite difficult to catch when in flight but they seem distracted. To the west there are a few snowshoe hares, warming their fur in the sunlight. They are fast and attentative, thus making them hard to catch:.

The geese were caught off gaurd but did make a quick getaway, all except one injured gosling. It had a broken wing and was half-heartedly flapping but to no avail...he'd be an easy catch.

THe small goose felt his wing being snapped off and sqwaked loudly in an attempt to be saved, but it was over. The gosling's little heart gave out in an attack of fear and he was instantaneously killed. He wasn't much, but would be enough of a meal for one wolf.
