Calling for Vrede

[Flame]

Flame carried Satoshi in on her back and set him down in the meadow. Satoshi and her both had bad looking wounds. She raised her maw to the sky at let out an urgent howl. "Vrede I need your help. Please come!" she called then sat beside her alpha and waited.

[Juice]

The meadow they were in held a large clearing of bright green grass. A small fire burned in the middle with many dried and fresh herbs near it. A small snow white vixen with peircing blue eyes trotted briskly towards the injured wolves. "Yes, I am Vrede." she simply said. "Please bring the unconcious one to the fire." she said and trotted over to wait for them.

[Flame]

Flame nodded and picked Satoshi onto her shoulders again and padded over to the fire where she set him down carefully. She sat there worried about her alpha even though she was more injured then he was.

[Juice]

Vrede looked at the two. "I first need to know of all the injuries and how they happend." she said sternly. She sat down and curled her velumptious tail around her forepaws, awaiting an answer.

Satoshi opened his eyes slowly, exhaustion filled his body. He stirred his legs and sat up slightly, looking around him. "Where am I? Where is Saria?!! THE PUPS!!?" He started trying to claw his way up, eyes wide.

[Juice]

Vrede narrowed her eyebrows. "Calm down." she said sternly. "I am Vrede, the healer. You were brought here by your faithful companion here." she said motioning to Flame. "Now I suggest you stay down, your suffering from exaughstion I see. You friend was going to tell me what happened and your injuries so I know how to heal them." she finished.

[Flame]

Flame nodded at Vrede. " First off this tear in my right shoulder came from when a wolf tried to attack Satoshi and I took the hit instead" she said showing Vrede the wound. The gash was deep and bleeding heavily.

[Juice]

"Hm." Vrede mumbled assesing the wound. She inspected it carefully then picked up a pawful of some of the dried herbs that were near the fire. "This is Wolfsbane. It will help heal close the wound." she said and rubbed the powdered plant into Flame's open shoulder. "It may sting a bit." she said. She then turned to a large cup-like leaf that had a strange purple juice in it. "This is blackberry serum. If you drink it, it will ease the pain." she said nudging the leaf towards Flame. She turned around once again. "Hm, I seem to be out of wool bandages, no matter." she said shrugging. She placed a dainty paw on the wolfbane encrusted wound. A small green light flashed. "Now I know you can't tell, but I just put an invisible covering over your wound so it will keep the infections at bay. Now, drink that juice and tell me of any more injuries you or your friend here might have."

[Flame]

Flame drank the juice and nodded her thanks to Vrede. "Well Satoshi fell on some glass he made" she said pointing to the wound in his side.

[Juice]

Vrede took the cup-like leaf back and set it down. She inspected Satoshi's side with intrest. "Well, isn't that odd. I've never had a wound quite like this before. No matter, I'll be able to fix him up." The wound consisted of three small puncture wounds in the shape of a triangle, very unusual. Vrede took a pawfull of Boision berries and smushed them into the cup-like leaf, she then formed a sphere of water with her paws and dropped it into the leaf, mixing it into the berries. She dapped her paw in the liquid and smeared it onto Satoshi's wounds. "This will heal the wounds-" she said wiping her paw off on the grass. "-but those punctures will make a triangular scar." she said. "They will heal within a day though and won't cause him any pain. Now, I need you both to stay here for the night and sleep next to the fire. I'll have to monitor your wounds. I expect your tired so please lie down next to the fire. I'm off to gather more herbs and berries." she said turning and trotting away. She stopped and turned. "You can leave if you want but once you leave the valley, your wounds will go back to how they were without treatment and probably get worse." she then trotted away and faded into the forest.

Satoshi nodded and set himself back down. He moved close to the flames and tried juggling little spits of it to ease his boredom. Eventualy, he let it go and tried to sleep. The serum Vrede had given him itched a little, but it didn't bother him badly.

[Flame]

Flame lay down next to the fire. As she slept though she bagan to dream of the battle they had been. She began to snarl and grew angrey as the dream went on. Flame's marking began to glow and so did her wounds. Her growling grew louder and her markings brighter.

"Flame...Flame." Satoshi was trying to wake her up, aiming for tail with a light kick. "Wake up. You're dreaming. And I can't get any sleep." Satoshi sat up and yapped in her ear. "Wake up!"

[Flame]

Flame snarled and rose quickly but when she opened her eyes they were all white. Flame wasn't realy awake and the eyes were ghostly. Her markings glowed with the color of fire. She looked unearthly. Flame snarled as she stood there staring into nothingness.

"Umm... Flame? Are you feeling okay?" Satoshi stood up and backed off a few steps, for the second time in his llife, scared. Satoshi grasped some fire and held it in front of him. It was warm fire, not hot, but Flame wouldn't know that... Hopefuly.
