My parents decided to bring me, my sister, my brother, and my cousin to the zoo yesterday. We live in New Hampshire and they took us for a two hour ride to Rhode Island to go to Roger Williams Park Zoo. The zoo was very big, had a whole bunch of animals in it.
And, it had a red wolf! At first, we didn't see it because it was in his cage, but then it came out, walked around, and then curled up in a corner. It was awesome! But I didn't know red wolves were so small; the one I saw looked sorta like my german shepard. Lol.
Once my dad e-mails me the pictures (yes, we got pictures of him), I'll post them.

Cool! Yeah, our zoo has four gray wolves and one red one. But then again, it also has six okapis, fourteen bongos, two tigers, and three Prezwalskies wild horses. XD It has many more animals, but those are some of the more rare ones.

Nifty! We went to the Wolf Park in Lafayette back in June. It was AWESOME it was so cool because the wolves would come RIGHT UP TO YOU. Because they were socialized to humans when they were puppies. You could even go in the cages and touch them in stuff, but you had to be 18. ANd they had a program where you howled with the wolves, and when you howled they'd howle back. It was great!

You know, I've grown up with dogs my whole life, and none scare me. Except wolfdogs. They really frighten me, my mom was attacked by one when she was about 10 or 11. Scared me to death, she still has the scars. I don't think they're bad or evil but I just .... they scare me is all. Funny actually, I went to my friend Amanda's house today and she has a Great Pyreneese(sp?) and he is HUGE he's just so ginormously huge! But he's soooo poofy and luffable. Gawd, I wanted to kidnap him xD

Same here, going to the zoo is fun! -dances- I dont' like monkeys though, they're gross. In my opinion. The weirdest animal we saw at our local zoo was probably a Capabara

Lol, the zoo in Rhode Island had a snow leapard. It was so cute! It even posed for my dad when he took a picture. It was really cute.
Oh, my friend at Tae Kwon Do met a wolf not that long ago. A man owned him! You can actually own wolves! I don't know how, but I'm going to find out!

We had lions in our zoo but they had cubs and it's a smaller zoo, so we had to get rid of them. Now we have cheetahs instead. (Assiniboine zoo. google it!)
