A Thirst For Adventure

Kairi padded across the forest, on the outskirts of any territory she'd ever set foot on. She been bored, lonely, rearing to go and thirsty for a challenge.

It seemed to be getting darker and colder as she continued. She shrugged it off. She began to run, not wanting to walk any longer. She was void of anything exciting to do, and wanted something to entertain herself.

She continued to run, until she was completely and utterly lost, with no idea where she was. a heavy fog covered her, going up to about her thighs. she looked down, and couldn't see her own front paws. She gave a smile. "Ah, now this, is interesting." she said. She continued to walk, looking around her, not seeing much, but what she did see, was different than what her eyes usually beheld, and the new scenes held onto her mind. She took a few more steps, and lifted her head to the black sky, and gave a howl. She didn't know what had compelled her to do so, but she had. She waited for someone to come. She was to interested, to curious to leave, and let well enough alone.

The fog around Kuro's body swirled as he pelted through the mist. He had heard a howl erlier, but was sure it was just one of his siblings. Kuro slowed to a trot and looked around him. He had only been playing, but now he was slightly lost. He narrowed his eyes, now smelling a scent upon the damp air. He walked forward and saw another young wolf just sitting there. "who are you?"

ic: Kairi jumped slightly. "Oh, hello." she said wagging her tail to show she was friendly. "I'm Kairi." she said. She then stood up and approached the male. "It's nice to meet you." she said paying no attention to the brute's two tails and strange ears. "You have lovely eyes." she said, trying to be hospitable and complimenting.

Aranel and Elrond were playing around, but when they heard voices a few feet away from them, they both quieted quickly. Cautiously, Aranel peeked through the leaves, silently. Elrond snuck up next to her. Both were nervous; the other wolves looked very strong. Aranel realized it would be better for them if the two wolves knew of their prescence. So, she stepped out, tail wagging, an innocent look in her eyes. Elrond, nervously, made his way to stop besides her.

Kairi looked up as she heard two wolves emerge from the brush. It was still rather foggy but she could make out the figures. It was Elrond and Aranel, they were in their adolescent years now, a bit older then Kairi. They were her packmates though. "Hi Elrond, Aranel." she said wagging her tail.

[Flamewolf]

Aranel smiled. "Hi, Kairi," she said happily, her tail wagging. Her eyes flickered over to Kuro, and when she looked back to Kairi again, her eyes were questioning.

Elrond smiled and inclined his head. "Hello, Kairi," he replied politely. His eyes flickered over to Kuro, and he gave a smile to the young wolf.

Kuro blushed slightly, if that was possible, and he puffed out his chest. " And since you have been kind enough to give me your name, I shall give you mine. I am Kuro." His two tails wrapped themselves together tightly. He stepped forward and bowed, which was something his father had taught him. respect towards others brings honor. Hostility isn't to be wasted on weaker things.

Kairi giggled and bounded around Kuro. "That's a nice name." she said. "I like it."she finished, and sat down behind Kuro. She wondered if maybe he would be her friend, but decided to wait and ask later.

"Soooo... Do you like hunting?" Kuro thingyed his head to the side, trying to make conversation. She is kinda prett-......NO! I cannot... Kuro gave a troubled glance the way he had came.

Kairi shook her head. "I don't kill it, I just chase it!" she said, and bounded after a rabbit, before running back to Kuro, panting. "Like that." she said. "My daddy hunts for us." she said. "I'm going to learn soon, though." she added. She smiled at him warmly, her tail wagging. 'I like him, he's nice.' she thought.

Aranel watched them both, smiling and staying silent. So did Elrond. Aranel realized that Kuro was an evil, but didn't mention it to Elrond. And they both noticed the two tails, Elrond's face expresionless about it and Aranel in awe. Very interesting sister and brother, they were almost never alike.

Kuro eyed Aranel. That wolf thinks something of me... "I, Personally, enjoy fishing." Kuro yawned and stretched, standing up. "However. I must ask each of you something. You do not smell like darks. Why do you stay so close whilst my father lurks?"

Kairi took a step back. She knew that darks were supposed to be dangerous. She shook her head a bit. "Well, I'm not a dark. I'm a light..." she said. She was confused. Was he dark? He couldn't be, he was too nice. "I am Kairi, of Willow." she said. She wasn't afraid of darks, but she would still be careful.

"And I am kuro, of the Ai'elase. But don't worry, you are safe here. My father does not patrol this far outside the borders." Kuro looked at Kairi and smiled. "You have nothing to fear out here."

Kairi almost jumped back, and her heart began to race. "The Ai'elase, huh?" she asked, not a flicker of fear in her voice. She was brave, and could keep a straight face, no sweat. She got it from her mother, her thirst for adventure and heart for a challenge. "Well, if your dad did patrol here, I could just run or fly away." she said calmly. 'His dad..must be Satoshi...' she thought. Instantly, after thinking about Satoshi, Kairi was worries for Megumi.
(She has wings now, got em' from Mei, I just didn't play it cuz we did a time jump)
